Tasks and challenges in the position:

provide guidance and share knowledge with team members and participate in performing procedures especially focusing on complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues
work with the team and the internal client to create plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and a strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses the risks inherent in the engagement
provide Internal Audit Management with feedback on the progress of audit assignments and contribute to planning the allocation of Internal Audit resources
compile Audit documentation to the agreed quality standards and timescales
maintain relationships with management to manage expectations of service, including work products, timing, and deliverables
undertake relationship management, ensuring that the business areas are kept informed of any arising audit issues
set short term objectives for each assignment, allocate resources, monitor and review progress against targets
use extensive knowledge of the business/industry to identify technological developments and evaluate impacts on the business

We expect candidates:

minimum 1-2 years of experience in the field of internal/external audit
good understanding of business functions and operations, observant with an eye for detail
international certifications is an asset: CIA, ACCA, CPA
practical knowledge of MS Office tools
demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members
knowledge and experience of Financial Services is an asset
awareness of Internal Audit methodology, professional standards and ethics
very good command of English
